Rare antique Vive Camera No. 4, manufactured in Chicago in the late 1890s. Large format box-style camera for 4×5 glass plate photography. Features original pull-out focusing hood with cloth sleeve and ground glass screen. Leatherette exterior.
A collectible piece of photographic history. Displays wear consistent with age: scuffs, edge wear, leather handle deterioration, and fraying to the focusing hood. See pictures for details.
